So good news and bad news. The bad news is I've turned off the program that collects games and finds out the winners. So the site will no longer show new games to bet on.

The good news! My newest project is finally ready for beta testers. League of Stocks is now live! You buy and sell stocks in your favorite NA/EU LoL teams. After every game the team plays, dividends are paid out based on how well the team performed. Daytrade your way to the top of the ranks or make the smart calls and hold stocks of the team that brings in the biggest dividends. I hope you check it out!

Good news and bad news for everyone. Bad news: I'm stopping development of this site (along with prizes). Good news: I've started a new project!

Unfortunately I have gradually been losing interest in the site, as have others it seems. The number of people playing is way down, even taking into account the holidays. But that's OK! I had so much fun working on the site (and learned sooooo much) - no regrets. I hope that everyone else got at least some enjoyment out of it as well!

The site will remain active and I'll keep resetting seasons every two weeks or so. However, there will no longer be any prizes. People interested in shoutcasting can still sign up and that feature will continue to work.

My new project is also related to LoL and I'll eventually post news about it when I have something concrete. In the meantime, remember: In SilSol We Trust!

A solid finish to the first season with the new premium currency! Grats to the winners, especially Fizzy. He managed to keep both top spots, despite a late run in the minions.

As we head into the winter break, I have decided to make the next season last longer than normal. Season 10 will end on January 2nd, 2013 at midnight (EST). Players will have extra time to work their way to the top!

However, in addition to the longer season, I have added a new twist: you are now limited to 30 bets per day. Your daily allotment of bets is renewed every night at 11:55 PM EST. This will apply to both dragons and minions. I decided to try this after hearing that people would prefer to focus more on the quality of bets rather than the quantity. As always, I welcome feedback so send me your thoughts.

Update: I changed it so that your bet limit rolls over for one day. So if you don't bet at all today, log in tomorrow, you have a limit of 60 bets. However if you don't log in for 3 or more days, your limit is still 60.

With Season 8 over and dragon testing concluded, we can reveal the true purpose of adding a second currency. Dragons are now a premium currency, with premium prizes!

For this season, everyone will start with 0 dragons - except for our top ten minion winners. The secret prize promised to our top ten minion holders is starting the new season with 1,000 dragons. For everyone else, a $5 purchase will get you 1,000 dragons. If you ever run out of dragons, you can pay another $5 to get back in the race.

Why would you want to do this? For the amazing new prizes, of course! First place for dragons will receive a lesson with PhantomL0rd and a $100 gift card to GameStop! Second and third place will each receive a $50 GameStop gift card. Fourth and fifth each receive $25 in RP, while sixth through tenth get $10 in RP. In addition, every time you purchase dragons this season, you will be automatically entered in a drawing for 3x $10 RP codes.

Playing with minions will not change at all. You always get 1,000 minions at the start of the season and if you drop below 1,000 you can hit the refill button for free. But now the prizes for minions will include 1,000 dragons for use in the next season.
